The Israeli Defense Forces have concluded a series of multi-level tests for the maritime version of their renowned "Iron Dome" defense system, known as "C-Dome." These tests aimed to enhance the operational efficiency of the multi-layered air and missile defense system, both at sea and on land.

The Ministry of Defense of Israel announced the successful completion of the tests, which involved a wide range of present and future threats, including cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The C-Dome system is the naval adaptation of the Iron Dome air defense complexes, which are integral to Israel's multi-layered missile defense. Developed jointly by the Israeli Missile Defense Organization and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, C-Dome provides a powerful defense against regional pro-Iranian forces and their evolving armaments.

During the recent series of tests, the C-Dome system successfully intercepted targets posing a threat to Israel's infrastructure and strategic assets within its exclusive economic zone. These exercises showcased the system's capability to counter the constantly advancing weaponry used by hostile elements in the region.

The Sa'ar-6 Magen corvettes will be equipped with two C-Dome launchers each, as part of their defense against missile threats from militant groups such as Hezbollah. This deployment will further strengthen Israel's maritime security.

The integration of advanced technologies into the multi-layered air and missile defense systems enhances Israel's readiness and defensive capabilities, ensuring the protection of its assets and the security of its population.
