Alpine, the French performance brand, is returning to the premier category of FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) with its 2024 LMDh challenger, the Alpine A424_β.

The A424_β is making its official debut ahead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race and features design elements inspired by Alpine's future production vehicles.

The race car is powered by a 3.4-liter single-turbocharged V6 engine delivering 675 horsepower, with an additional 67-hp rear-axle hybrid system developed by Bosch, Xtrac, and Williams Advanced Engineering.

It utilizes a next-generation ORECA LMP2 chassis, a seven-speed transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddles, and 18-inch wheels with Michelin tires.

The A424_β embodies Alpine's values of being racy, elegant, and distinctive, and signifies the brand's present and future in endurance racing.

Alpine will compete in WEC's Hypercar class alongside manufacturers such as Lamborghini and BMW, and will enter the championship with two cars operated by Signatech.
