The TopGear team was invited to a location near Paris, France, where they were able to spend some time with the Mission X without people getting in the way.

Porsche unveiled the Mission X concept, an all-electric hypercar, to commemorate its 75th anniversary. While not officially confirmed, there are good chances that a production version of the Mission X will be released.

The Mission X is expected to be the fastest production vehicle to lap the Nurburgring. The concept has a purely electric powertrain, but specific power figures have not been disclosed.

The Mission X is rumored to have around 1,700 horsepower and a power-to-weight ratio of at least one horsepower per 2.2 pounds. Performance estimates suggest the car could achieve a 0-60 mph sprint in under two seconds and a top speed of over 200 mph.

The design of the Mission X features some similarities to the Porsche 918 Spyder but with a sharper appearance. Notable design elements include a glass bubble panel roof with a carbon fiber exoskeleton and small cameras instead of side mirrors.

The concept rides on ultra-lightweight magnesium wheels, with 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear.
