South Korean company Hyundai Rotem has unveiled a concept for their next-generation tank, the K3, which incorporates various high-tech features.

The K3 tank is built on a modular platform and features a crew cab at the front and a power-pack at the rear. The tank has a low-silhouette design that reduces its visibility on radar and infrared ranges, making it difficult for enemies to detect.

The integration of anti-tank missiles and other weapon systems inside the turret provides stealth capabilities. The tank's hull is equipped with a modular armor system composed of steel, ceramics, and composite materials.

One of the notable features of the K3 tank is its unmanned turret, which includes a remotely controlled 130mm smoothbore main gun and a fully automated loading system.

The tank has a combat weight of 55 tons and is powered by a Diesel engine, enabling it to reach a maximum road speed of 70 km/h and 50 km/h in off-road conditions. It has a maximum cruising range of 500 km.

The South Korean Army requested the development of the K3 tank as an upgrade over the existing K2 Black Panther, and the first prototype is expected to be seen in 2030.
