The new generation Hyundai Santa Fe will have a radically different design compared to the current model, featuring a refreshingly boxy shape that will likely offer more interior space.

The prototype of the Santa Fe spotted in spy shots showcased "H" shaped daytime running lights that also function as turn signals. The vehicle appears to be larger than the outgoing model, with a longer, wider, and taller body. The wheels on the prototype might appear small due to the all-black finish, but they are actually 20 inches in size.

The rear of the Santa Fe has wide turn signal lights mounted low on the bumper, which may pose visibility issues for drivers behind the vehicle. The prototype features a lifted suspension, allowing a glimpse of the independent rear suspension and a cutout in the bumper revealing a single exhaust tip.

The interior of a different test vehicle showed a screen-heavy dashboard, conventional buttons, knobs for temperature adjustment, and paddle shifters behind a thick, two-tone steering wheel.

The world premiere of the next-generation Hyundai Santa Fe is scheduled for later this year, although it is unclear if it will be a 2024 or 2025 model year release.
