Skoda will reveal the next-generation Kodiaq SUV later this year and it is currently undergoing development work. Spy photos captured the redesigned Kodiaq being tested at the Nurburgring race track.

The SUV is still wearing camouflage, but some design changes can be observed, such as new headlights and a redesigned front bumper. Details about the specific styling changes at the rear are difficult to determine from the spy photos, but it is expected that Skoda will make tweaks to the rear bumper and taillights.

The next-generation Kodiaq will continue to ride on the MQB platform but with updates. Skoda plans to offer electrified powertrain options, including plug-in hybrids, as well as gasoline, diesel, and 48-volt hybrid options.

The next-generation Kodiaq is expected to be revealed later this year and reach dealerships early next year.

Skoda will also introduce the new Superb and update the Octavia in the coming years, along with the introduction of a new compact electric SUV called the Elroq.
