Hyundai is working on a facelift for the current-generation Tucson SUV, despite it being relatively new. Spy shots of the test vehicle reveal a smaller grille, similar to the design changes seen in the facelifted Elantra and Sonata models.

The changes to the Tucson's front fascia are not expected to be as drastic as those on the Elantra and Sonata. The rear of the Tucson is expected to receive minor design updates, particularly to the rear fascia and light housings.

No major changes to the powertrain are anticipated for the facelifted Tucson, but updates to interior components, such as a larger touchscreen, are likely. The refreshed Tucson is expected to be a 2025 model for the US market, with a possible earlier release in South Korea.
