There are currently over 1.9 million orders for the Tesla Cybertruck, which has recently entered production. Tesla CEO Elon Musk mentioned during an Earnings Call that the demand for the Cybertruck is exceptionally high.

Given Tesla's planned production capacity of 375,000 Cybertrucks per year, new orders may take approximately 5 years to be fulfilled. However, it's worth noting that not all reservation holders may follow through with their purchase, as the deposit to reserve a Cybertruck was relatively low at $100.

There is also the possibility of offering the Cybertruck outside of North America, particularly in European and Asian markets, but selling it overseas could be challenging due to its large size and weight.

The Cybertruck had 1 million pre-orders back in May 2021, meaning reservations have almost doubled in the past 2 years. The electric truck will allegedly debut with a 350-mile range. Back when it was revealed in November 2019, a top-of-the-line quad-motor Cybertruck with a 620-mile range was promised. However, that version is now looking unlikely to make it to production according to various sources.
