Bugatti is gearing up for the unveiling of an extraordinary gold-themed Chiron on August 10 that's sure to captivate automotive enthusiasts. This special Chiron will also be the center of attention at this year's The Quail, a motorsports gathering that begins Friday, August 18.

The teasers, shrouded in enigma, offer glimpses of what's to come. One teaser showcases the Chiron's profile, its form partially veiled by a shadow, against a backdrop of arches and bathed in a warm, golden hue. A brief video accompanies this, featuring a figure moving towards the vehicle in the same setting, though it keeps the car's design secrets intact.

The final teaser presents golden sketches of the Chiron against a black canvas, revealing the artist's hand. The theme is clear with the inclusion of the hashtag "#GoldenEra," suggesting a strong connection to the color or the precious metal itself.

As Bugatti approaches the final stages of Chiron production, with just 100 units remaining out of the initially limited 500, anticipation builds for the successor set to make its debut in 2024. This forthcoming model will mark a new chapter under Rimac's ownership.

The Chiron's history, which began with its debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, boasts a legacy of power and exclusivity. Its quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine, producing between 1,479 and 1,578 horsepower depending on the variant, exemplifies its performance prowess.

Bugatti's 2022 achievements are also noteworthy, having delivered a record-breaking 80 vehicles in a year – a first for the brand. This production feat encompassed notable models like the Centodieci. The introduction of a pre-owned program further underscores the brand's commitment to its customers, with meticulous inspections prior to resale.
