A family visiting the Smoky Mountains captured a video of a wild bear attempting to open their cabin door and later managing to open the unlocked doors of both a Honda Odyssey minivan and a Kia Telluride SUV parked outside. The bear even climbed inside both vehicles, taking a blue bag from the minivan.

A bear visited the cabin in Sevierville, Tennessee where they were staying. It tried to open the locked door of the house and then continued with other attempts. The animal, perhaps looking for food, pulled the handles of the parked cars outside. To everyone's surprise, it managed to open both the Honda Odyssey minivan and the Kia Telluride SUV, which were unlocked and parked next to the cabin.

The bear also climbed inside both the cars. The Telluride was unsuccessful, but then the bear came out of the Odyssey with what appeared to be a blue bag. Someone inside the cabin asked, 'What does it have in its mouth?'

The video description provides a good summary of the events:

"Our family was visiting the Smoky Mountains and was unaware that bears can actually open doors. The bear first attempted to get into our cabin and was pushing down on the handle, but the door was locked. The video was captured right after we saw the bear, attempting to get in the cabin and we watched it head for our cars where it proceeded to open car doors and get inside the vehicles."

No one was hurt, and the animal left after taking a blue bag from a minivan. However, it is surprising how good bears are at opening doors.
