Toyota already has the bZ4x electric crossover and the bZ3 sedan in its lineup, which was unveiled this week in China. However, the company does not stop there and intrigues with another electric model.

The image in the teaser reveals a car that looks similar to the bZ3 sedan, but with a more tapered rear-end design. This suggests that the mysterious bZ model is likely a liftback or hatchback. The shadows hide the rest of the vehicle, but it appears to have the front-end styling of the other bZ models.

Toyota is remaining mum about the vehicle, only revealing that it's a part of the Toyota bZ series model under development. The company has announced plans to release a line of bZ models, with six slated to use the e-TNGA platform. We hope to hear more about this new model in the next few months. The automaker didn't specify when it will release more information, but we'll be keeping an eye out.
