The Hennessey Venom F5 hypercar is getting a limited-edition watch that costs $200,000. That's not much when considering that the initial price of the car itself is over two million dollars.

The Hennessey Venom F5 Concept Chronograph is a limited-edition timepiece designed in collaboration with Skeleton Concept and Hennessey Performance. Every watch is linked to an individual Venom F5 model through the wristband and inscription.

Making a sapphire case is an involved process that starts with aluminum oxide. This material is heated until it becomes molten, and then cooled into a solid block. Inspectors check the block for quality before it's machined into the final product. Machining takes 24 hours a day for over 30 days to complete. Once finished, another inspection is done before polishing the piece to perfection.

The chronograph has some features from the car. It has a carbon-fiber bezel that is engraved with a high-contrast scale. This scale can measure average speeds of up to 248 miles per hour (400 kilometers per hour). Each Venom F5 watch is connected to a specific car with a number on the chassis. The watch band is the same color as the car.

The Hennessey Venom F5 coupe made its debut in late 2020 and is one of the rarest cars on the market, with only 24 examples produced. But this car has the power to match its $2.1 million price tag, making it a truly unique find. This car has a twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V8 engine that produces 1,817 horsepower and 1,193 pound-feet (1,617 Newton-meters) of torque. This engine can make the car go from 0 mph to 62 mph (100 km/h) in less than three seconds. It can also reach 124 mph (200 km/h) in 4.7 seconds.

The Venom F5 Roadster, which Hennessey launched earlier this year, is even more expensive than its predecessor. It now has a starting price of $3 million, despite packing the same V8 engine under the hood.
