Jeep has teamed up with Merrell, a brand renowned for its outdoor footwear, to unveil a special edition hiking boot. The collaboration aims to encapsulate the “legendary heritage of both iconic brands.”

Unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show, the Merrell Moeb 3 Mid x Jeep boot will hit shelves in eight countries on October 16, offering both men's and women's sizes. Shoppers can choose from Sarge Green, Sting Grey and Hydro Blue color options, and the boot is packed with Jeep-inspired design features, including Easter eggs.

Among these features, the boot sports unique Rubicon emblems, red lace hooks resembling the Wrangler Rubicon’s tow hooks, and metallic lace fastenings that mirror the latches on the Wrangler's hood. The upper mesh fabric of the boot is patterned after the Wrangler’s iconic hexagon grille, while the large heel hook emulates a set of seat belts. The footbed of the boot even features a topographic map of the renowned Hell’s Revenge off-road route, along with an embossed depiction of Jeep’s signature seven-slot grille.

Lindsey Lindemulder, Merrell's senior director of brand marketing, stated, “Adventure meets adventure with the Merrell Moab 3 Mid x Jeep collab, and we’re thrilled to work with an iconic partner like the Jeep brand whose legacy has so much alignment to our own history on the trail. The Jeep brand has a loyal fan base similar to Merrell, and these boots have on- and off-road capability for you to navigate any journey with confidence.”

The hiking boots will be available in the U.S., Canada, Taiwan, China, Japan, Peru, Panama and Colombia while supplies last. To celebrate the launch, Merrell is offering a Jeep Wrangler giveaway from October 23 through November 6. Only residents of the United States, Canada, Peru and Panama are eligible to enter.
