Hot Wheels, in partnership with Porsche and Mobil 1, unveiled the Dirtmeister to celebrate the automaker's 75th anniversary at this year's Rennsport Reunion 7. It's a modified 1987 Porsche 944 that looks ready to complete a rally stage. The toy maker will offer the wicked build as a die-cast car on a made-to-order basis.

The real-life Porsche comes with a tailored roll cage by Jimco Racing, among other enhancements. The standout modification is the shooting brake conversion from Kudensport, which transforms the car into a two-door wagon.

Below the altered exterior, the vehicle is packed with off-road enhancements. The 944 is equipped with Trophy Truck tech, including coilover shocks fitted with Eibach springs, Pirelli rubber, and Triple R LED lighting. Navigational assistance is provided by Garmin's Baja Tread XL, while PCI's race radio system rounds out the list of robust features. Recaro seats ensure that both driver and co-driver stay securely in place.

The Dirtmeister will also become part of Hot Wheels' Garage of Legends, which houses the brand's "most eye-catching and remarkable vehicles." It's the first Porsche to be added to a roster that includes icons like the Twin Mill and the Bone Shaker. This also marks Hot Wheels' first full-size car collaboration with Porsche. The Garage of Legends already features other noteworthy cars such as the Deora II, the Beach Bomb, Bad to the Blade, and several special Chevrolet Camaro editions.

Hot Wheels and Porsche's partnership goes back over half a century, starting when Hot Wheels rolled out the Redline Porsche 917 in 1970. Since then, Hot Wheels has crafted 54 distinct Porsche models in die-cast form.

The unique Porsche creation will make another appearance as it leads the inaugural Hot Wheels Legends Rally. It will also be on display at the Hot Wheels Legends Tour event scheduled for October 7 at the brand's headquarters in California. The international event will allow custom car creators from 15 different nations the chance to see their designs transformed into toy vehicles.

Rennsport Reunion 7 began on Thursday, September 28, and will conclude on Sunday, October 1, taking place at the Raceway Laguna Seca in California. The event-filled weekend organized by Porsche will also feature the American debut of the Mission X concept car.
