The success story of the BMW M3 Touring will continue in 2025. BMW has reportedly given the go-ahead for a beefed-up version of the sports wagon, which will be available in limited numbers.

The BMW M3 CS Touring will likely follow the same recipe as the G80 M3 CS and the upcoming G82 M4 CS: 543 horsepower (550 hp) and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque from the revised S58 3.0-liter biturbo six-cylinder engine. Of course, we will see similar design improvements with carbon fiber bits at the front, a more aggressive rear diffuser and a carbon fiber spoiler.

As with all CS models, the BMW M3 CS Touring (G81) will get a special launch color, carbon bucket seats and unique wheels. However, according to the BMW Blog, don`t expect major weight savings. For example, the M3 CS sedan shaves 75 pounds (34 kg) off the standard M3 Competition xDrive, so the M3 Touring CS should follow a similar recipe. The M3 CS Touring will send power to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

BMW has not yet officially confirmed these speculations. However, if the M3 CS Touring is indeed planned for launch next year, the first prototypes are likely to make their rounds on the Nürburgring track soon.

Like all other CS models, the M3 CS Touring will be limited: rumored to be less than 2,000 units worldwide. But the United States is not on the list, as in the case of the "regular" BMW M3 Touring.
