Geely is teaming up with BNP Paribas and its subsidiary Arval in Europe to provide financing, leasing, and insurance for its electric car brand, Zeekr. Initial services are already up and running.

Arval, a leasing arm of BNP Paribas, revealed that a comprehensive pan-European agreement was inked, touching on "all aspects of mobility." The partnership kicked off in September in the Netherlands and Sweden, with plans to expand into Germany by 2024.

This alliance enhances Zeekr's "One-Stop-Shop" approach, giving customers a centralized hub for all their electric mobility needs.

Arval will specifically handle financing, all-inclusive leasing, and insurance, while BNP Paribas Personal Finance will focus on car loan options. The press release also notes that BNP Paribas Cardif will offer insurance products and Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) will provide a range of banking services, including payment services for card transactions.

Spiros Fotinos, CEO of Zeekr Europe, stated, “Through these partners, Zeekr Finance, will be able to offer a full suite of products allowing customers to select the one that suits them best. This is a key element of our One-Stop-Shop strategy that bundles all EV related services into one place.”

BNP Paribas has an existing relationship with the Geely Group. Charlotte Dennery, CEO of BNP Paribas Personal Finance, said, “We are also glad to extend our partnership within the Geely universe, in addition to our existing joint ventures in China and our cooperations with Volvo and Polestar in Europe.”
