Dacia continues its triumphal march in Europe. The Dacia Sandero is for the umpteenth time the most popular car in Europe among private individuals.

Dacia proudly reports that it sold 493,511 cars in the first three quarters of this year. This is 16.7 percent more than in the same period last year. In the third quarter, Dacia sold 148,124 cars, 2.4 percent more than in the third quarter of 2002.

Of the almost 500,000 cars sold by Dacia so far this year, no less than 199,516 were Sandero models. Sandero sales increased by 18.3 percent compared to the number of cars sold in the first nine months of 2022. Dacia proudly reports that the Sandero has managed to maintain its position as the most popular car among European private individuals.

The Duster crossover follows closely behind the Sandero. So far this year, Dacia has sold 154,460 Dusters, 4.1 percent more than in the first three quarters of last year. The Jogger has already sold 70,932 units this year. The electric Spring has already generated 44,262 signed contracts for Dacia this year, 40.6 percent more than in the first nine months of 2022.

France is and remains the largest European market for Dacia. Of the almost 500,000 cars sold this year, 118,495 have found an owner in this country. That is almost a quarter of the total.
