With its debut just a little over a week away, Škoda Auto has made public the exterior sketches of its brand-new ICE flagship, the fourth-generation Superb. The upcoming Superb incorporates initial aspects of the Modern Solid design aesthetic.

As hinted at in earlier leaked photos, the 2024 Škoda Superb showcases a refined exterior that leans more towards a facelift than an entirely new generation. While the dimensions make the car longer and taller, it is somewhat narrower than the model it replaces. The increased size translates to even more cabin and cargo space compared to its predecessor.

While the outer shell appears largely familiar, significant updates have been made to the interior, featuring three rotary dials with integrated mini screens. These dials offer highly customizable functionality, reducing the need for multiple physical buttons on the central console. The dashboard still houses a few traditional controls but is chiefly dominated by a 13-inch infotainment screen. A 10-inch digital instrument panel is standard and can optionally be paired with a head-up display.

Multiple configurations will be available, as Škoda plans to market the 2024 Superb with a variety of gasoline, diesel, and plug-in hybrid engines, in addition to front-wheel and all-wheel drive options. No matter the version selected, power will be delivered through a seven-speed DSG transmission—except in the case of the hybrid model, which comes equipped with a six-speed DSG. Regarding the gear shifting mechanism, the lever has been relocated to the steering column to create extra space between the front seats.

The global launch of the new Škoda Superb is set for November 2, 2023.
