This news was shared by Polyphony Digital's founder and CEO, Kazunori Yamauchi, via a teaser tweet on X just a few days before the update is set to go live. The tweet features silhouettes of seven cars that are largely identifiable.
Leading the lineup is the NISMO 400R, an enhanced version of the R33 Skyline GT-R, known for its multiple upgrades over the base model. It holds significance as it has appeared in every Gran Turismo title since the franchise's inception.

Alongside it is the Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992), distinguishable by its fender strakes, double-bubble roof, and massive rear spoiler. To its left, there's the Lexus LFA, another staple in the GT series. Fans will undoubtedly be thrilled to hear its iconic V10 engine, assuming GT7 replicates it accurately.
In the second row, there are three American cars and one German vehicle. Starting from the right, we see a Dodge Charger, a second-generation muscle car that's a household name and expected to attract a lot of in-game buyers. Next to it is its modern counterpart, the Dodge Challenger Demon.
The specific model of the Challenger Demon is yet to be determined, as both modern versions have similar wide hoods. But what's certain is its minimum output of 840 hp (626 kW) to the rear wheels, making it a powerful addition. Three spots to its right, we find a Tesla Model 3.
While it's assumed that this will be the Performance version, only time will confirm this. Lastly, on the far left is a Mercedes 190E (W201), which could come in multiple versions. For now, the hope is that it will be the iconic Evo II DTM model.
