Bentley, known for its craftsmanship in creating luxurious car interiors, has extended its expertise to the interior of the Contest 67CS, a 20-meter (66-foot) sailboat. This collaboration enables yacht owners to harmonize their boat's interior with the design and materials used in Bentley's renowned vehicles, such as the Continental GT and the Bentayga.
One notable feature is the use of hand cross-stitching, a technique commonly applied to Bentley steering wheels, throughout the yacht's interior. Additionally, the yacht showcases diamond-quilted leather akin to Bentley's vehicle seats, including the Flying Spur.

Dr. Matthias Rabe, head of engineering at Bentley, emphasized the importance of precision detailing in both car and yacht interiors. He stated, “Yacht interiors, like that of a car must be exact with precision detail. Whilst it was a challenge for our design teams to adapt their craft skills to an interior, providing a totally bespoke extension to our automotive interiors for the water we are delighted with the result.”
Apart from incorporating techniques from their vehicles, Bentley also provided furnishings from its home collection, including the Malvern Chair, paying homage to its automotive legacy. The meticulous fit of these elements into the yacht was ensured through prototyping methods such as 3D printing, guaranteeing a seamless installation process.

The successful collaboration between Bentley and Contest Yachts has prompted the creation of a new line of Bentley-featured Contest Yachts, according to Arjen Conjin, CEO of Contest Yachts. This partnership builds upon their previous work, taking it to a higher level of integration.
While the specific price of the Contest 67CS with Bentley-inspired interiors remains undisclosed, it's safe to assume that for enthusiasts seeking alignment between their yacht and Bentley car, budget constraints are not a primary concern.
