While details about the Kaveya are somewhat limited, the prototype showcased in Las Vegas boasts a sleek carbon fiber body with a blend of soft curves and taut surfaces. Notable features include hidden headlights reminiscent of pop-up units from the past, a distinctive lighting signature for brake lights and rear daytime running lights, a rakish windscreen, a glass roof, and what appears to be a retractable rear wing. It rolls on 19-inch wheels optimized for aerodynamics and fitted with Michelin tires.
In terms of size, the Kaveya measures 4,768 mm (187.7 inches) in length, 2,002 mm (78.8 inches) in width, and 1,255 mm (49.4 inches) in height, with a wheelbase spanning 2,718 mm (107 inches). To provide some context, it's slightly shorter than the BMW M8 but wider and lower.
Karma Kaveya
Performance-wise, Karma claims the Kaveya will feature all-wheel drive and a formidable combined output of 1,180 hp and 1,720 Nm (1,270 lb-ft) of torque. This power is derived from a 120 kWh battery pack, offering a range exceeding 402 km (250 miles) and the ability to charge from 10% to 80% in 45 minutes. The car is expected to accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h (0-60 mph) in less than three seconds and reach a top speed of approximately 290 km/h (180 mph).
It's worth noting that production of the Kaveya will be limited, with only 353 units available for reservation at the moment, requiring a $10,000 deposit.
