Skoda offers Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé owners hassle-free access to more than 500,000 public charging points across Europe - from multiple providers - thanks to the Powerpass app and card.

Powerpass solves the common problem of requiring multiple apps to charge by consolidating access into a single app and card.

The Powerpass app and card enable direct access and payment at these charging points. The Powerpass map, integrated into the Enyaq’s infotainment system and the app, displays charger locations and details like operating hours, availability, power capacity, and pricing.

There are three Powerpass membership tiers: Charge Free, Simply Charge, and Charge Faster. Charge Free, with no monthly fee, suits occasional public charging users.

In the U.K. Simply Charge, at £4.99 per month, offers reduced rates at public AC and DC chargers, except IONITY. Charge Faster, for £13.99 per month, is ideal for frequent users, including reduced rates at IONITY chargers (£0.49 per kWh for AC, £0.66 per kWh for DC, and £0.44 per kWh at Selected Partner Network chargers).

Setting up involves pairing the car with the Powerpass app using the vehicle’s VIN, followed by receiving the Powerpass card. Charging can be initiated with the card or app, with the latter also providing battery monitoring and payment history.

Furthermore, the system guides drivers to compatible chargers, differentiating between Powerpass and non-Powerpass points in the car’s navigation and app for convenience.
