Genesis has unveiled a new off-road concept version of the GV70, marking a significant departure for the luxury crossover into the off-road segment.

Developed in collaboration with Delta, the GV70 Project Overland prototype was created to celebrate Delta’s 40th anniversary, transforming the luxury vehicle into a more robust machine. This concept, still in its prototype stage, represents Genesis's exploration of new terrain.

The GV70, known for its luxury within the Hyundai Motor Group’s lineup, is undergoing a facelift. Ahead of this update, the new concept showcases off-road enhancements. These include a suspension upgrade, raising the vehicle by nearly two inches, and a wider stance thanks to 18-inch Classic B Rugged black wheels with Continental ATR tires. These modifications are complemented by extended wheel arches.

For improved off-road capability, the GV70 Project Overland features additional PIAA lights on the roof and Baja Style lights in the grille. A specially designed roof rack is also included for essential gear storage.

The GV70 Project Overland will be displayed at the Essen Motor Show in Germany from December 1 to 10, allowing enthusiasts and the public to view it at the Continental booth.
