The Car of the Year 2024 in Europe has a competitive lineup, featuring 28 models vying for the prestigious title. These contenders include newly released vehicles available, or set to be available, in at least five European markets by the end of this year.
A two-stage voting process will determine the winner. The initial phase will shortlist seven nominees, to be announced on Monday, November 27th. The final winner will be revealed at the Geneva Motorshow on Monday, February 26th.

The jury for the 2024 Car of the Year (COTY) consists of 59 members from 22 countries, excluding Russian members this year.
In 2023, Jeep Avenger was the winner. Second place went to Volkswagen ID.Buzz, and third place went to Nissan Ariya.
