The Jeep Renegade will no longer be available in the United States after the 2023 model year, reports Automotive News. However, it will still be sold in Mexico, Europe, and other regions.

Introduced in 2015 and sharing a platform with the Fiat 500X, the Renegade's discontinuation is a strategic shift by Jeep. A spokesperson mentioned that this would allow more focus on other growing models in the US market.

The Renegade's sales have been on a downward trend in the US, peaking at over 106,000 in 2016 and steadily declining each year. In 2022, sales dropped to 27,549, a significant decrease from the previous year's 47,137. This trend continued into 2023, with a 35% drop in the first nine months.

Jeep's most affordable model in the US now is the 2024 Compass Sport, starting at $29,995. It features a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with 200 horsepower. In contrast, the 2023 Renegade, slightly cheaper at $29,445, comes with a 1.3-liter turbocharged engine.
