Breitling is paying homage to iconic cars with its latest creation: a set of three unique watches, each drawing inspiration from automotive legends—the Ford Mustang, Shelby Cobra, and Chevrolet Corvette. Priced at a striking $47,000 each, these watches mirror the value of their classic car counterparts.

Part of the Top Time Collection, known for its chronographs ideal for timing laps on the race track, this new series takes a bold leap by incorporating a tourbillon movement. This addition, often seen in high-end watches, consists of a rotating cage holding the escapement and balance wheel. The purpose? To counteract gravity's effects on the watch's precision, especially when positioned differently.

The standout piece, the Top Time B21 Ford Mustang, features a 43mm bronze case and a titanium rear. Its green dial, inspired by the first-generation Mustang's palette, complements the overall design. The watch's chronometer, similar to the others in this series, sports a unique 'squircle' shape—a nod to the rectangular speedometers found in classic cars.

The Top Time B21 Shelby Cobra offers a distinct look with its 44mm black ceramic case, complemented by a titanium back, crown, pushers, and buckle. Its blue dial pays tribute to the famous livery of Carroll Shelby's iconic sports car.

Echoing this design, the Top Time B21 Chevrolet Corvette also features a 44mm black ceramic case with titanium accents. Setting it apart is its walnut burl dial, alongside a perforated leather racing strap, reminiscent of the Corvette's classic steering wheel and dashboard designs.
