A video posted on social media by InsideChinaAuto captures the relentless, yet unsuccessful, attempts to destroy the vehicle. It repeatedly withstands extreme abuse during testing.

The footage begins with a giant flaming sphere, outfitted with metal spikes, colliding into the passenger side of the Hongqi. Impressively, the SUV absorbs the impact well. Although the side sustains damage and side airbags deploy, the doors remain functional.
Next, the Hongqi maneuvers through a simulated minefield and crashes into two brick walls. The final test involves dropping another car onto it. Remarkably, the SUV drives away under its own power after these ordeals.
Interestingly, Chinese leader Xi Jinping favors armored Hongqi N701 limousines, even bringing them on his trips to the USA.
