The first 23 ambulances have already been delivered to Ukraine and will be sent to the frontline regions to provide medical evacuation of civilians.
Modern ambulances are equipped with oxygen cylinders, cardiac monitors, defibrillators, electrocardiographs and artificial lung ventilation devices.
They can save a person in case of cardiogenic shock, provide assistance during childbirth, resuscitate patients, provide general anaesthesia, and perform primary surgical treatment of wounds, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reported.
The ambulances were donated by the Government of the United Arab Emirates. The transfer of medical transport was organised by the Olena Zelenska Foundation with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in the UAE
