South Korean company LG is set to visit the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA, on January 9th. There, it will unveil a series of new infotainment systems, including an automotive screen for the front passenger. The screen’s unique feature is that it prevents the driver from seeing its content, avoiding driver distraction.

This innovative display employs angle control technology, allowing the front passenger to view videos while the driver remains undistracted by the screen's content. Similar technology has been seen in Range Rover, which allows both the driver and passenger to view different images on the same screen.

In addition to the passenger display, LG will also introduce other innovations. One such innovation is a new LG display that spans the entire dashboard, using cutting-edge OLED technology to provide both the driver and front passenger with ultra-high-definition imagery similar to that in the Mercedes-Benz EQS. Rear passengers will enjoy a ceiling-mounted display that descends for their viewing.

LG is also set to release a new projection display that, in conjunction with the dashboard, utilizes 3D technology to enhance the driver's view.
