Skoda is set to unveil a mid-cycle refresh of the Octavia in February, teasing slightly modified designs and enhanced infotainment features.

As the new year unfolds, Skoda fans are in for a treat with the impending reveal of an updated Octavia. The Czech automaker has sparked interest with a teaser video, giving a sneak peek of the car, albeit under covers, and setting the stage for its February showcase.

The teaser, while limited in detail, hints at potential upgrades. Notably, the Skoda badge may feature backlighting, and the headlights seem to be redesigned. The Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) are particularly striking, extending beyond the headlights and merging towards the grille.

Recent spy shots offer further clues about the front-end modifications. While changes seem subtle, they include a new vertical intake on the bumper and a slightly altered grille design.

Rear-end details remain elusive, with Skoda keeping these updates under wraps. However, changes here are expected to be more understated compared to the front.

Interior upgrades have also been hinted at through spy photography, revealing a revamped infotainment screen. In line with the VW Group's efforts for brand consistency, the updated Octavia is likely to feature more tactile buttons alongside the new screen.
