The 1991 BMW 850i, once owned by basketball legend Michael Jordan, has been put up for auction on Bring a Trailer.

This 33-year-old vehicle has had only two owners and has traveled about 30,000 miles (48,000 kilometers). The NBA star's purchased model features a 5.0-liter BMW V12 engine, delivering 296 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The clutch was replaced by the second owner in 2017.

The car sports a Mauritius Metallic Blue paint job, shimmering in light. It also boasts enhancements from tuning company AC Schnitzer, which, according to the current owner, were installed by Jordan himself. The bumper, hood, and front fenders have been updated.

Beyond body modifications, the car is equipped with 17-inch AC Schnitzer wheels, wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact tires (235/45 front and 275/40 rear), fitted in 2023.

Inside, there are Light Parchment leather seats and matching door panels. The car also features dual-zone automatic climate control, AM/FM/cassette radio, and a CD changer. This BMW also comes with driver's seat memory and an electrically adjustable steering column.

The auction will conclude on Monday, January 8. The current bid exceeds $60,000.
