Dutch company Heritage Customs has made a convertible out of a Land Rover Defender. The cost of such a conversion is at least 85,000 euros ($92,000).

This Defender Valiance convertible was built to the exact specifications of the owner. The SUV has been fitted with a safety cage? An electronically controlled folding fabric roof and original wheels. The front and rear bumpers as well as the sills are painted in black. The main body colour is bright yellow, which is not available in the original Defender 90 palette.

The interior of the Defender Valiance convertible has also undergone a number of changes. The front seats are covered in black quilted leather with yellow contrast stitching. Heritage Customs also upholstered the front panel, steering wheel and door panels in black leather with yellow stitching. The insert above the glovebox is adorned with a brushed aluminium plate.

Heritage Customs plans to build five examples of the Defender 90 convertible. The cost of the conversion will start at 85,000 euros ($92,000), not including the price of the donor car itself. The soft top can be painted in a variety of colours and shades.
