India's Tata has launched a new electric crossover, the Punch.ev. It is already available for order in its home market and North Africa, where it is attractively priced.

The Tata Punch.ev is available in two versions: standard and range-topping. Depending on the configuration, the electric car can be charged from AC wall charging systems of different capacities: 3.2 kW or 7.2 kW. In addition, the Punch.e is compatible with charging systems up to 150 kW.

The standard model is equipped with a 60 kW motor with 114 Nm of torque and a 25 kWh battery. The Long Range version is equipped with a 90 kW engine with 190 Nm of torque. The battery capacity is 35 kWh.

The list of optional extras includes a glass sunroof, a powerful audio system, full LED headlights, a Harman infotainment system and more. The Punch.ev is also equipped with driving and parking assistance systems, 360-degree cameras, blind spot warning system and six airbags can be fitted.

In India, prices for the Tata Punch.ev start at the equivalent of 12,000 euros.
