The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT lineup is set to expand with the introduction of a new visual option package exclusively designed for the high-performance version of this electric crossover.

Known as the Bronze Appearance package, these optional enhancements are precisely as the name suggests, introducing alterations to some of the vehicle's accent colors.

This package transforms the front grille color of the crossover into a captivating bronze hue, while it equips the vehicle with 20-inch aluminum wheels finished in "Sinister Bronze." Furthermore, it incorporates exterior badges finished in the same appealing bronze color. When combined with the Eruption Green paint featured in Ford's promotional images, these bronze elements create a striking visual impact. It's important to note that the Bronze package is compatible with only three exterior colors: Shadow Black, Star White Metallic Tri-Coat, and the Eruption Green showcased here.

Beyond the aesthetic changes, Ford has also provided a tantalizing glimpse of an optional performance enhancement to complement the Bronze package. While specific details are currently limited, the manufacturer asserts that this optional upgrade will elevate the bronzed-out version to become the fastest Mach-E iteration to date. As things stand, the 480-horsepower Mach-E GT Performance is already an impressive performer, achieving a 0-60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration time of just 3.7 seconds. However, Ford's assurance of an even quicker acceleration with this upgrade piques our curiosity.

Orders for the 2024 Mach-E are expected to commence later in the winter season. The Mach-E GT AWD with the extended-range battery pack and Bronze Appearance package will have a starting price of $62,885. It's worth noting that the additional cost for the unspecified performance upgrade will be disclosed once further details become available.
