Chinese electric car startup Nezha intends to build on the success of the existing Nezha S sedan with a new EP41 station wagon scheduled to debut in mid-2024.

Zhang Yong, Nezha's CEO, has recently piqued interest by sharing a teaser of the camouflaged prototype EP41. Though no specific announcement date was given, the shared images reveal styling cues similar to the Nezha S sedan alongside a unique redesigned tail hinting at influences from the VW Arteon Shooting Brake.

The company remains tight-lipped about EP41's technical specifications. However, it showcases an extended length approximately 4,800 mm that places it within Tesla Model 3's competitive range. Embracing its modular architecture version 2.0 Shanhai, the EP41 promises improvements over its sedan sibling and offers powertrains equivalent to current Nezha S options: EV and EREV with top powers scaling up to 456 hp (340 kW).

EP41 features Hesai AT128 LiDAR technology to enhance its Nezha Pilot ADAS self-driving capabilities. The industry anticipates EP41's official debut at April 2024's Beijing Auto Show with deliveries expected by mid-2024. Speculations suggest its starting pricing will be below ¥300,000 ($42,350).

Previously in 2022, Nezha captured consumer interest with the introduction of the Nezha S sedan. The upcoming unveiling of EP41 aligns with their continuous innovation strategy.
