BYD has two series of vehicles: Dynasty and Ocean. Dynasty cars are named after Chinese ruling families. It consists of five lines: Han, Song, Qin, Tang and Yuan. The Yuan range currently consists of two models: Yuan Pro and Yuan Plus (Atto 3). Soon BYD will launch the third model in the Yuan series, the Yuan UP.
This crossover was previously revealed by the Chinese authorities. And now BYD has released its official images.
The BYD Yuan UP measures 4310/1830/1675 mm and has a wheelbase of 2620 mm. It follows BYD's updated Dragon Face design language, which is similar to the previously launched BYD Song L.
BYD Yuan UP
The BYD Yuan UP can be equipped with a 70 kW or 130 kW electric motor. The small SUV has two LFP battery options from FinDreams for 32 kWh and 45.1 kWh, good for a range of 301-401 km.
The Yuan UP will be launched in China in March this year. According to local media, the price will be around 100,000 yuan (14,085 USD).
