Underneath, there's a metal frame and normal wheels and tyres on which the V70 rolls.

A life-size Lego model of the Volvo V70, comprised of 350,000 bricks, is currently under construction. The model features operational elements such as seats, a dashboard with an instrument cluster, steering wheel, doors that open and close, functional lights and power mirrors, climate control knobs, a movable gear shifter, and a working steering system. Additionally, it's powered by an electric motor. However, for structural integrity and mobility purposes, the car uses a metal frame along with regular wheels and tires not made from Lego blocks.

The creator behind this intricate piece is David Gustafsson from Sweden. Gustafsson is known for being a dedicated Lego enthusiast and previous winner of Lego Masters. He owns a real Volvo V70 which has evidently served as his inspiration for this project.

Work on the Lego Volvo V70 started over a year ago following Gustafsson's victory in the Lego Masters competition. By December of last year, he showcased his work at the Ecar Expo in Gothenburg where spectators could view the assembly process.

Gustafsson regularly updates his progress on social media platforms like Instagram. Two weeks ago, images were posted displaying the nearly completed interior of the model. Last week's update included a video highlighting the finished rear portion of the roof. Alongside these updates, his public appearances are scheduled to continue through April across various Swedish locations.
