So far, the Romanian carmaker, which is owned by Renault, has only shown the new Duster in full trim.

In late November 2023, Dacia unveiled the third-generation Duster crossover SUV. Initially, we only get a glimpse of the all-inclusive version by the Romanian subdivision of the Renault Group. The car features trendy rims, distinctive paint, and LED lighting.

A speculative rendering of the basic Duster, devoid of the premiere bells and whistles, was shared by X-Tomi Design on Facebook. The budget-friendly version replaces LED headlights with halogen lamps, features unpainted plastic, steel rims, and plain white body paint.

At present, visuals of the rear and interior of the entry-level Dacia remain undisclosed. It's been confirmed that the base model will not include the new digital cluster, instead opting for traditional analogue instruments. The 10.1-inch infotainment screen will also be absent.

The base model Duster will likely be equipped with the ECO G-100 engine; a 101 horsepower 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine compatible with both gasoline and LPG. Its power is transferred to the front wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The TCe 130 with a 48-volt mild hybrid system or the Hybrid 140 (Duster's first full hybrid drive) will only be available in higher specification models.

Dacia has yet to reveal pricing for the base model SUV. Since the car is set to hit the markets by May 2024, official figures are anticipated to be released soon.

Based on the pricing of its predecessor, the second-generation Duster (still available for ordering) which starts at 17,400 euros for the "Essential" equipment line with the 101 hp LPG engine, we estimate that the new base model will start around 18,500 euros.
