Ford will release a special Blackout Package for the Bronco Raptor SUV to commemorate the solar eclipse that will cross the United States on 8 April. The SUV will be unveiled at a special Bronco Off-Roadeo event in Texas.
Details on the Blackout Package will be revealed on the day of the eclipse. For visitors to the Bronco Off-Roadeo near Austin, the moon will cover the Sun at about 1:35 p.m. Central Time and will last about 4 minutes. For now, we can only assume that the Blackout Package will include black exterior and interior details for the top-spec Bronco.
Attending the event will cost Ford Bronco owners $1,995 for two days of adventure. The ticket price includes five meals for four people, guided off-road spots and two nights of camping. Those interested in just a day trip can join for $595.
