Last month, Porsche unveiled the updated Taycan. Now the company has announced a new flagship high-performance version, which it calls "the most dynamic Taycan of all time".
A teaser photo in dark colours shows off the sporty silhouette with a huge rear spoiler and an updated front end.
Earlier, prototypes of the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT were spotted testing at the Nürburgring. The pre-production Taycan Turbo GT, driven by Lars Kern, completed the racetrack in 7:07:55. That's 26 seconds faster than his previous record in a Porsche Taycan S Sport, set in 2022.
The new Taycan Turbo GT was just over two seconds behind the record set by the Rimac Nevera electric hypercar (7:05:298).
The previous top-of-the-range Porsche Taycan Turbo S had 750bhp and accelerated from 0 to 100km/h in 2.6 seconds. The new version is expected to have more than 1,000 hp.
The Porsche Taycan Turbo GT will have its world premiere on 11 March 2024
