Mercedes-Benz has revealed a facelifted version of the electric EQV.

Mercedes has introduced a facelifted version of its electric-driven V-Class, known as the Mercedes EQV.

The updated model boasts a more elegant design, with minimal changes to the exterior, including a closed grille with chrome louvres and an LED light strip. The rear features a chrome strip with the Mercedes logo and updated tail lights.

Notably, the biggest changes are found in the cockpit, which now has a modern look with displays similar to the Mercedes EQA. The dashboard houses two 12.3-inch monitors, while the centre console includes a wireless smartphone charging tray. Other upgrades include a button start system, heated steering wheel, standard left-side sliding door, and the ability to lock doors and close windows using a mobile app.

The Mercedes EQV continues to offer a front-mounted 150 kW engine with a choice of 60 or 90 kWh batteries.

The battery cells come from Chinese manufacturer CATL. The range with the larger battery is up to 365 kilometres. According to Mercedes, this is made possible by efficient recuperating and improved thermal management. Charging is standard with up to 11 kW AC and 80 or 110 kW DC depending on the configuration. Plug & Charge is supported.

Both battery versions are available in a long and an extra-long version, with six seats as standard and up to eight as an option.

The updated EQV has been available for order since January 2024, and with the extended standard equipment, the car is now available in Germany from a gross list price of €75,282. The official configurator shows a base price of €58,488 gross for the 'long' version with 60 kWh. This is not the list price of the old version, as we thought, but a discounted price, as Mercedes subsequently informed us. This means that you can currently get the car for almost 17,000 Euros less than the list price. It remains to be seen how long the car will be available at this price.
