NISMO's flagship EV model enhances the speed, comfort and handling of the standard Nissan Ariya e-4ORCE.

Nissan has launched the Ariya NISMO in Japan. Customers can choose between two Ariya NISMO models, the B6 e-4ORCE and the B9 e-4ORCE. The former has a 66 kWh battery and produces a maximum of 270 kW and 560 Nm of torque. The latter, with a 91 kWh battery, delivers a peak output of 320 kW and 600 Nm of torque. The exclusive NISMO Driving Mode can be engaged to maximise responsiveness when greater performance is required.

The Nismo Ariya's list of unique components includes brake pads that provide stopping power in a wide range of temperatures, and aluminium wheels that "strike a perfect balance between width and weight to ensure superior aerodynamics and cornering ability".

The chassis has been upgraded to optimise front and rear suspension performance, while the NISMO-tuned e-4ORCE provides improved traction in all conditions and sports car-like line handling.

The exterior blends the design of the Ariya with the aerodynamics of the NISMO flavour. Featuring exclusive bumpers, rear spoiler and door skirts, the stylish design reduces drag and generates more downforce at higher speeds. The Ariya NISMO's body is available in six colours, including the exclusive NISMO Stealth Grey with a blacked-out roof.

The black-based interior features a spicy red accent and special NISMO seats. Activating the NISMO mode in cars equipped with the NISMO-exclusive BOSE premium sound system produces a sound reminiscent of Formula E racing.

First sales of the Nissan Ariya NISMO are scheduled to start in June. The 66 kWh NISMO B6 e-4ORCE starts at 8,429,300 yen (57,476 USD) and the 91 kWh NISMO B9 e-4ORCE has a price tag of 9,441,300 yen (64,376 USD).
