Maserati has announced all its vehicles will be electric by 2028. This revelation came during the "Folgore Days" event in Italy on a Monday morning, marking a substantial shift in the company's direction towards sustainable automotive solutions.

By 2025, every Maserati model will feature an electric variant, signaling the beginning of this significant transition.

The commitment to electrification includes popular models such as the GranCabrio, Gran Turismo, Grecale Folgore SUV, and the MC20 Folgore supercar slated for release in 2025. The announcement is backed by a Maserati U.S. spokesperson who confirmed to 'The Drive' that by 2028, the luxury car brand would exclusively sell electric vehicles (EVs).

Maserati CEO Davide Grasso clarified that some markets around the world may move at a different pace, but highlighted that the company is targeting 2028 as its goal.

Since the Ghibli, Quattroporte, and Levante are being phased out, only the important new models will be left standing by 2025 and all will have internal combustion and electric powertrain options.
