Chinese EV brand Zeekr revealed the Zeekr Mix, a new two-tone MPV. This is the fifth vehicle from Geely's all-electric sub-brand. The unveiling captured attention with its innovative design and promising features.

The Zeekr Mix boasts a large, boxy shape setting a bold aesthetic precedent for MPVs. Despite revealing only one photo, it’s clear this model diverges visually from traditional MPVs. It rides on the SEA-M platform, which is notable for being used first in this car. The platform design facilitates a flat floor and an extended wheelbase, optimizing interior space without visible B-pillars.

In terms of performance, the Mix is powered by a single motor that delivers roughly 420 hp. It’s described as an ‘intelligent living room on wheels’, emphasizing comfort and utility over sheer power.

The car’s interior features advanced infotainment systems suitable for both driver and passengers, and offers versatile seating configurations that can accommodate up to six people. Its doors are uniquely designed with one regular door and varying sliding door arrangements on each side—enhancing accessibility while also adding a modern touch to its functionality. At 4.7 meters long, its size compares to that of a BMW 3 Series but provides far more room inside.

The Zeekr Mix might see broader horizons beyond China as Zeekr has begun introducing models like the 001 shooting brake and X crossover in Europe. Plans to bring the Zeekr Mix to European markets could greatly influence its international success.
