Jozef Kaban, renowned for designing the Bugatti Veyron, has been appointed as the Vice President of the Global Design Centre at MG Motor. In his new role, Kaban will be responsible for ‘forward-looking creativity and design’ of the MG product range.

Kaban brings a wealth of experience to MG Motor, having previously crafted designs for major automotive brands such as Audi, BMW, Rolls Royce, and VW. At VW, he held the position of Head of Design before being succeeded by Andreas Mindt. His extensive career is backed by an education from the Royal Academy of Art in London and highlighted by his notable work on the Bugatti Veyron.

MG Motor recently unveiled the EXE181 concept at the Beijing Motor Show, drawing inspiration from the 1957 EX181 land-speed record-breaking vehicle. This reveals a glimpse into the type of innovative projects Kaban will now be leading at MG. The expectations are high for his impact on future products, particularly as MG approaches its centenary.
