Roshel's move is aimed at improving logistics and access to the Ukrainian market. Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the company has hired more than 200 Ukrainian refugees. Shimonov said that these employees have gained valuable experience and are eager to continue their work in Ukraine.
In addition, Roshel currently has several service centres across Ukraine. These centres specialise in servicing Senator armoured vehicles used by the Ukrainian defence forces.
The company is known for producing all the components of its vehicles, except for the chassis from the civilian Ford F-550. In addition, Roshel is designing new models of armoured vehicles with improved mine protection and an 8x8 wheel configuration.
