VinFast has unveiled new details on the adorable VF 3 as it prepares to launch in Vietnam. The car, priced at 240 million VND ($9,428) without a battery and 322 million VND ($12,650) with a battery, boasts modest specifications including a range of up to 210 km (130 miles) on a single charge.

The VF 3 offers two battery subscription plans: an entry-level option at 900,000 VND ($35) for under 1,500 km per month and a high-usage plan at 2,000,000 VND ($79) for more than 2,500 km monthly. This allows drivers to choose based on their driving needs.

Customization is also key with the VF 3. It comes in nine color options—four standard and five additional colors that cost an extra 15 million VND ($589). The vehicle measures just over three meters (125.6 inches) in length and features a 191 mm (7.5) inch ground clearance.

Inside the cabin of the VF 3, there's a two-spoke steering wheel and minimalistic controls alongside a sizable 10-inch digital display. The small car still offers practical cargo space of about 285 liters (10 cubic feet).

The VF 3 is powered by a rear-mounted motor producing 43 horsepower with an acceleration from 0 to 50 km/h (0 to 31 mph) in five seconds. Its efficient design includes an aerodynamically optimized frame and wheels.

Its battery is designed for quick charging; it takes only about half an hour to reach from 10 to 70 percent capacity. Despite its compact size and lower horsepower count, the VF 3 is designed to meet the daily transportation needs.

VinFast aims this model at urban drivers looking for cost-effective motor solutions amid globally rising fuel costs. Such initiatives reflect VinFast's ambition to become a major player in the global electric vehicle market by offering affordable electric mobility solutions.
