Hennessey has introduced its latest creation, the H850 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, featuring a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine. This beast now roars with an impressive 850 horsepower and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque. The car completes a quarter mile in just 10.9 seconds at a speed of 133 mph (214 km/h).

Last summer, Hennessey announced their ambitious plan for the H850 program aimed at enhancing the Ford Mustang Dark Horse. They have transformed the iconic car by adding several high-performance components including a new fuel pump, upgraded fuel injectors, and a supercharger. These modifications allow the modified version to outshine the original model significantly which had an output of 500 hp and 418 lb-ft (566 Nm).

The enhanced model accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in merely 3.2 seconds compared to the stock's 3.7 seconds. Its quarter-mile performance also sees improvements from the original version's timing of 12 seconds at a speed of 118.4 mph (190.5 km/h) to a swifter run time.

Moreover, buyers can choose between automatic and manual transmissions, ensuring personal customization preferences are met. The vehicle includes special features like embroidered headrests and exclusive H850 badging, adding a unique touch to each unit sold.

Hennessey didn’t mention pricing, but said the H850 “delivers serious bang for buck alongside supercar-like performance and the glory of a supercharged V8 soundtrack.” The company also noted the model comes with embroidered headrests, H850 badging, and a three-year or 36,000 mile limited warranty. The vehicle can also be had with a manual transmission.
