Packed with a Ford-sourced 650bhp engine, carbon fiber chassis, and Aston Martin-inspired design, this limited-edition marvel is set to rival the world's luxury heavyweights.

The unveiling of Adamastor Furia marks Portugal's entry into the supercar scene. This new model, described as Portugal's first supercar, comes equipped with a powerful Ford-sourced 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine. It outputs 650bhp and 421lb ft of torque. With a price tag of 1.6 million plus taxes, the Furia is positioned to compete with heavyweight luxury brands like Aston Martin, Pagani, Koenigsegg, and Rimac.

The Adamastor Furia boasts design cues similar to an Aston Martin Valkyrie and incorporates a lightweight carbon fiber chassis that weighs around 1,100kg. It can reach speeds over 186mph and accelerates from 0-62mph in about 3.5 seconds. Notably, it features a Venturi effect floor which generates significant downforce of up to 1,000kg at speeds of 155mph. The vehicle also includes modern driver aids such as ABS and traction control systems.

Adamastor intends to manufacture only 60 units of the Furia from its facility located north of Porto. This limited production underlines the car's exclusivity in the global market. Adamastor specializes in carbon fibre bodywork and fuel tanks and has experience producing wind turbine propellers.

With this introduction, Adamastor not only raises Portugal's stakes in competitive automotive engineering but also showcases a remarkable blend of performance innovation and luxury design.
