Volkswagen has unveiled a new customization feature for its electric ID. Buzz model, which is scheduled to launch in the U.S. this fall. Through a collaboration with Wrapmate, buyers will be able to add a custom wrap to their Buzz to make it stand out from the crowd.

The customizable vinyl wraps are made of 3M material and can be installed across the country by any of Wrapmate's 2,000 certified installers.

To kick off the program, VW unveiled a Love the Earth design by Bob Hieronimus, who recreated the 1969 Woodstock Light Bus. This wrap expresses the phrase "Love the Earth" in 25 different languages and is meant to promote the importance of global unity as a pathway to a more loving relationship with the Earth, according to the automaker.

To enable this personalization, Wrapmate offers a 3D configurator tool starting from June 2. Customers who prefer their unique designs have the freedom to create them using this platform.

Orders for these custom-wrapped ID. Buzz models will be taken online through either Wrapmate or participating Volkswagen dealerships, starting this fall for the model year 2025. Costs for these custom wraps were not disclosed.
